The Story Behind Full Bloom
Built from the Ground Up
7th generation farmer. FFA State Star Agribusiness. Started at 6 years old behind the wheel — and never stopped.
Roots & Experience
Seven Generations Deep
I grew up in Merced County as the 7th generation to live and work on our family farm. Agriculture isn't something I chose — it's something I was born into, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Our family has grown almonds, walnuts, silage corn, silage oats, tomatoes, dried lima beans, and alfalfa. I learned early that farming means knowing every crop, every machine, and every season on its own terms.
I started operating machinery at 6 years old. By the time most kids were riding bikes, I was learning how equipment moves, how it fails, and how to keep it running. That foundation is what Full Bloom Harvesting is built on.
Crops grown on the family farm:
How It Started
Seeing a Need and Filling It
In 2022, I saw a gap in the market. Custom farming services in my area weren't keeping up with what growers actually needed — reliable equipment, experienced operators, and crews who treated every acre like their own.
So I started Full Bloom Harvesting. One machine, a handful of growers, and a commitment to doing the job right. What began as a way to serve my community became something much bigger than I expected.
I built the business from scratch — scheduling, equipment maintenance, client relationships, and field operations — while still in school. Every season taught me something new, and every grower I worked with made the operation better.
Why I Started It
Growers Deserve Better
The Central Valley has a slight shortage of harvest contractors. But what it lacks most is contractors who actually care about the outcome — who understand that a bad shake or a sloppy sweep doesn't just cost nuts, it costs next year's yield too.
I grew up watching growers get let down by crews who showed up late, ran equipment too hard, or simply didn't know the crop. I knew I could do better — and I knew the only way to prove it was to go do it.
Full Bloom Harvesting exists because growers in Merced County and across the Central Valley deserve a contractor who treats their operation with the same care they would give their own family farm.

Company Growth
From One Machine to a Full Fleet
Full Bloom Harvesting has grown every season since it launched in 2022. Here's how the operation has expanded.
Founded
Started Full Bloom Harvesting with a single machine and a small group of growers in Merced County. Proved the concept in the first season.
Growing the Fleet
Added a sweeper to the fleet and expanded the client base. Word spread among growers — reliable service in a market that didn't have enough of it.
Expanding the Territory
Expanded acreage as demand & rapport grew. Brought on additional operators and refined scheduling to handle more acres per season.
Fleet Expansion
Purchased a 2026 OMC Shockwave Side mount with a partial grant from the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District. Buying a shaker showed growers that Full Bloom Harvesting is a stable & solid company.
National Stage & Fleet Addition
Named a national finalist for the FFA Agricultural Services Proficiency Award. Now operating 4 machines across the Central Valley with 15+ grower relationships and 5,300+ acres harvested.
